Elbląg, Poland - in Elbląg, the Saber Strike - 18 exercise is underway. Today, on June 3, the active phase of the exercise has began. On that day, the action of the soldiers was visited by the Deputy Commander of the Multinational Corps Northeast Maj. Gen. Krzysztof Król. Arrived guest was greeted by the Division Commander, Brig. Gen. Krzysztof Motacki. During his visit, Gen. Król visited the Field Command Post and met with the Division Deputy Commander and the Chief of Staff. He also spoke with the soldiers of the Multinational Corps who are taking part in the exercise.
Saber Strike is an exercise that has been organized periodically since 2010 by the Command of the US Army in Europe. This year, the soldiers of the Multinational Division North East Headquarters also take part in it, and their operation is secured by the Command Support Regiment. The exercise in Elbląg are also attended by representatives of the Multinational Corps Northeast, Americans from 7th Mission Support Command, as well as representatives of several Polish commands and military units. In total, over half a thousand soldiers are trained in Elbląg.
