Elbląg, Poland - The series of Battle Staff Trainings "Amber Bridge" (the first one - "Amber Bridge 21 - 1") began in February this year. During the first training MND-NE soldiers trained at the Field Command Post organized by the MND-NE Command Support Regiment. The tasks were focused on improving individual and team skills.
The next stage, "Amber Bridge 21 - 2", the MND-NE soldiers realized in May, and its third part concluded on Friday, November 5. Both trainings were divided into the theoretical part and the practical implementation of the tasks assigned to participants.
Soldiers of brigades affiliated to MND-NE - the Lithuanian Iron Wolf brigade and the Polish 15th Mechanized Brigade in Giżycko, as well as the 7th Dukelska Mechanized Brigade from the Czech Republic, also participated in both Battle Staff Trainings.
The 7th Brigade and MND-NE have long cooperation during exercises. In 2018, the Czech brigade took part in the exercises "Saber Strike - 18" and "Anakonda - 18", while in 2020 the soldiers of the multinational division command supported the 7th Dukelska Mechanized Brigade during the "Decisive Vision - 20".
Joint training and exercises foster collaboration, improve mutual understanding and ensure the smooth operation of the Headquarters within the NATO chain of command.
